Prof. Chein-I Chang Visited the RS Group in Wuhan University
On December 31st, 2019, Prof. Chein-I Chang visited the RS group in Wuhan University and gave a presentation. More than 50 students and teachers participated in this activity, including more than 15 IEEE GRSS members in Wuhan Chapter.
Prof. Chein-I Chang gave a speech about “Hyperspectral imaging algorithm design: Statistical signal processing approaches”. Prof. Chein-I Chang is currently the director of Remote Sensing Signal and Image Processing Laboratory (RSSIPL) at the school of computer science and electronic engineering, University of Maryland (UMBC). His research interests include remote sensing, signal processing and image processing, especially in hyperspectral image processing and automatic target recognition. His Pigeon-Hole Theory and OSP Theory lay the foundation of many hyperspectral image processing algorithms.
