High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Conversion Course – March 5th, 2025

Please join us for a PDH-credit eligible course on High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Conversion presented by Jamison LaRoche, P.E., Senior HVDC Maintenance Engineer from National Grid. The course is Virtual via Microsoft Teams. 

The course is FREE to attend if not request PDH credits. For PDH credits, the cost is as follows: 

$5 for IEEE Members
$20 for Non-IEEE Members

BIOGRAPHY:
Jamison is a Senior HVDC Maintenance Engineer at National Grid’s Sandy Pond HVDC converter terminal. He has been an IEEE member since 2015 and a PES member since 2016. After graduating from WPI in 2018, he began his career as a Substation Engineer for National Grid where he was the project lead for jobs such as 3V0, bay expansions, breaker replacements, and greenfield projects. Shortly after earning his MEng in Power Systems Engineering from his alma mater in 2022, he moved over to the world of HVDC, starting in compliance and engineering support before moving to the engineering team in 2023.
