Plagiarism constitutes a breach of academic integrity that can have lasting impact on the future career, regardless of whether it was intentional or not. The responsibility to avoid plagiarism belongs with the student or researcher. IEEE Student Branch arranged a session on plagiarism and how to avoid it was presented beautifully by Dr. Kazi Tanvir Ahmmed, the associate Professor of Department of Electrical & Electronic engineering.
