En nuestra la Región 9 del IEEE se realizan anualmente un sin numero de eventos técnicos de nivel internacional organizada por las Secciones, capítulos técnicos y Ramas Estudiantiles de nuestra región. Sin embargo son dos los eventos regionales que tienen como principal tarea promover el desarrollo continuo de nuestra organización:
- La Reunión Regional (RR) en la cual participan los presidentes de todas las secciones que conforman la Región 9 del IEEE, el comité ejecutivo, los comités regulares y los comités Ad-Hoc.
- La Reunión Regional de Ramas (RRR) en la cual participan representantes estudiantiles de todas las ramas de nuestra región con el objetivo de estrechar lazos con colegas de otras secciones.

The Region 9 2023 Regional Meeting will be conducted in a face-to-face format in the City of Panama from March 9 – 11. During this meeting we will celebrate the 50 Anniversary of the creation of the Panama Section along with the activities from our region.

2021 – Evento Pasado – Virtual Regional Meeting 9 (RM9)

“With regret we are unable to hold the face to face Regional Meeting this year to ensure the health and safety of all of our volunteers”.
The Region 9 Executive Committee (R9) approved conducting the RM9 2021 Virtual. This statement was announced on the virtual meeting Saturday, 26th September 2020. Region 9 Outstanding Section Award 2021 – R90009.

El evento presencial fue realizado los días 26, 27,2 8 y 29 de Marzo. El lugar elegido para convocar a los lideres del IEEE Fue la ciudad de BOGOTA, Colombia . En el Flamante HOTEL AR Salitre en ese lugar se discutieron asuntos importantes para el continuo desarrollo de la Región 9 del IEEE.
