SIGHT has been on an amazing journey this year – our team of volunteers has set a high bar with new records in the number of project proposals received, projects funded, SIGHT individual membership, and new groups formed. We have some exciting programs and announcements planned for the week of 1 – 8 December. This time has been set aside to provide public visibility on the amazing work being done by SIGHT volunteers around the globe – that’s YOU! I strongly encourage you to participate in the activities to make it a truly global, meaningful event for us. I hope to meet you and talk with you during some of the panels and sessions we’ll be holding, and look forward to hearing your stories afterwards of how you celebrated.
