This year R9 will be holding its annual meeting virtually and this presents as an excellent opportunity to offer the possibility of having more members and volunteers to attend this event.

The regional meeting is held twice each year usually in March and October. The March meeting used to be face to face and the October meeting in virtual mode.

These meetings host a variety of talks from invited speakers from IEEE and also several administrative meetings some of which are open to all members and other are held in closed session (executive session).

The meeting will be held on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 of March from 13h00 to 18h00 UTC-5.

On both days from 13h00-14h00 we will have Virtual Display Tables from several societies and IEEE organizational units promoting their programs and services, and from 14h00-18h00 we will entertain several talks and administrative meetings.

There is no cost and it is an excellent opportunity to know more about IEEE and interact with fellow colleagues from the region.
