IEEE Education Society Portugal Section and the DCIS'2021 Organizing Committee organized a panel on the title "The Legacy of Pandemics for Engineering Education". The pannel will discuss and reflect on what has been done to deal with the pandemic situation, and can be carried further away and influence Engineering Education in the future: things that we started doing or that we didn't do a lot but had to do more frequently during the pandemic that provide an experience that can now be used,... In other words, what has the pandemic forced us to do that can help us in doing our job better in the future? What tools, approaches or strategies this situation has shown that are needed, or that provide good results?
