Abstract: The presentation will cover changes in the utility industry, the growing role of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) with a focus on solar PV’s and information about Entergy’s various renewable efforts and pilot projects including the new solar+battery project at their Patterson site in New Orleans.

Presenter Bios
Andrew Owens is the Director, Regulatory Research. He provides regulatory support on emerging technology issues to Entergy’s five public utilities.
James Charboneau is the Manager of Technology and Innovation and recently served as the Project Manager for Entergy New Orleans’ Solar Power Plant, a new state-of-the-art 1 MWac single axis tracking solar project with a fully integrated 0.5 MWe battery.
