For many years the IEEE New Orleans Section has hosted an annual meeting, titled “Bogy Boogaerts Memorial Manufacturers’ Night”, dedicated to manufacturers and other industries in New Orleans and the surrounding metropolitan areas. This year the event will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 starting at 6:00pm at Southport Hall located at 200 Monitcello Ave, New Orleans, LA 70121. Young Professionals and Student are invited to join us at 5pm for a happy hour to kick off the evening. Tickets will be for sale at a price of $20/person for IEEE Members and non-member students, $40/person for non-members and guests, $10/person for student members, and section life members are free.

Manufacturers’ Night traditionally contains no technical program but is a social occasion where engineers, designers, manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and others can network with members of the IEEE NOLA Section in an informal setting. The event will feature on-site boiled crabs and shrimp, with plenty of cold beverages/soft drinks. This is always our best-attended meeting of the year, and we sincerely hope you will join us!

There are opportunities for sponsorship of the event with four levels of sponsorship:

Patron Level – $1,200.00, includes ten (10) complimentary admission tickets.

Gold Level – $800.00, includes six (6) complimentary admission tickets.

Silver Level – $400.00, includes three (3) complimentary admission tickets.

Bronze Level – $150.00, includes one (1) complimentary admission ticket.

In addition to the complimentary admission tickets, all sponsors will have their names and provided logos projected on a large screen throughout the event. There will also be a formal thank you at the event and recognition in a follow-up article published in the Section Bits. Patron Level sponsors will also receive a full year of advertising on our website and in Section Bits, the IEEE NOLA Section electronic newsletter which is published to more than 900 subscribers. We are also providing Patron level sponsors the opportunity to set up a display table and advertise their products and services to our event attendees.
