For many years the IEEE New Orleans Section has hosted an annual meeting, titled “Bogy Boogaerts Memorial Manufacturers’ Night”, dedicated to manufacturers and other industries in New Orleans and the surrounding metropolitan areas. This year the event will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 starting at 6:00pm at Southport Hall located at 200 Monitcello Ave, New Orleans, LA 70121. Tickets will be for sale at a price of $25/person for IEEE Members, $50/person for non-members, and $10/person for all students. Section life members attend for free!

Manufacturers’ Night traditionally contains no technical program but is a
social occasion where engineers, designers, manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and others can net- work with members of the IEEE NOLA Section in an informal setting. The event will feature on-site boiled crabs and shrimp, with plenty of cold beverages/soft drinks. This is always our best-attended meeting of the year, and we sincerely hope you will join us!

There are opportunities for sponsorship of the event with four levels of sponsorship.

1. Bronze Level – $45.00, includes two (2) complimentary admission ticket.
2. Silver Level – $175.00, includes eight (8) complimentary admission tickets.
3. Gold Level – $250.00, includes twelve (12) complimentary admission tickets.
4. Patron Level – $500.00, includes twenty-five (25) complimentary admission tickets.

In addition to the complimentary admission tickets, all sponsors will have their names and provided logos projected on a large screen throughout the event. There will also be a formal thank you at the event and recognition in a follow-up article published in the Section Bits. Patron Level sponsors will also receive a full year of advertising on our website and in Section Bits, the IEEE NOLA Section electronic newsletter which is published to more than 900 subscribers. We are also considering the feasibility of providing Patron level sponsors the opportunity to set up a display table and advertise their products and services to our event attendees. Stay tuned to see if those logistics can be worked out.
