Dear Members of the Industrial Drives Committee,

We thank all the people that attended the IDC annual meeting in Detroit about two weeks ago.

At present, we’re looking for topic chairs/session chairs for ECCE 2023.

A topic chair is responsible for the review process of a group of papers (about 10-15), which are assigned to experts and reviewers from all over the world. Punctuality and reliability are required to allow completing the review process in time.

If you’re interested, please send an email to our vice-chair for conferences, Kevin Lee, and our secretary, Di Pan, with a short CV – please clarify if you’re willing to serve as a topic chair or session chair.

Deadline: October 28, 2022

Also, we’re looking for volunteers interested in joining the activities of the Industrial Drives Committee in the following areas:

• standards and industrial activities
• special activities, such as proposals of special issues in IAS-sponsored journals, supporting events for young professionals, networking, promotion of cultural diversity and gender equality
• liaison members with local IEEE chapters from all the IEEE regions.

We invite the members who would like to collaborate with the IDC to send their application to our Di Pan. Please include your CV.
