Dear Colleagues,

You are kindly invited to submit your digest to the 2018 IEEE 9th International Symposium on Sensorless Control for Electrical Drives (SLED), which will be held in Helsinki, Finland, on September 13-14, 2018. The symposium is financially sponsored by IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS), technically co-sponsored by IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) and IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES), and jointly organized by Aalto University.

The symposium will present the latest advancements and future perspectives of sensorless motor drives and sensorless techniques applied to power converters. The submission deadline of digests is February 11, 2018. The submission system is already open, please see more details here:

All accepted and presented papers will be published in proceedings and will be included in the IEEEXplore Digital Library. The presented papers are eligible to be reviewed for the IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications.

The program will include social function, keynote presentations, and a technical tour at ABB Drives, Helsinki. The symposium will be held in the week preceding the EPE ECCE 2018 conference, Riga, Latvia, which is just a one-hour flight away from Helsinki, making it easy to attend both these events.
