Join Columbus IEEE Young Professionals, the Power and Energy Society (PES) and Women in Engineering (WIE) as we celebrate the end of this strange year with a virtual murder mystery game! Prizes will be awarded for the attendees dressed in the most festive holiday attire, as well as the best in-character costume. Attendees will receive their character sheet with more info about the game, a Zoom link, and a gift card from a meal delivery service to munch on some milk and cookies during the event (or whatever other food you’d like). So, RSVP to reserve your spot today!
What is a murder mystery, you may ask? It’s a game where players typically play a character, observe evidence, and solve clues to predict which character is the murderer. In our specific scenario, there is no actual murder– just a theft. (But a very important theft!). Guests will be playing the role of inhabitants in Santa’s workshop who are under suspicion of stealing Santa’s sack of presents. Characters (suspects?!) involve famous reindeer, elves, snowmen, and Mrs. Claus. We will all view the proceedings, ask each other questions, and try to solve the mystery. Each participant will receive a character sheet with more info about a character and will answer questions to the group based on the facts that the character knows.
All are welcome. Bust out that scratchy sweater, channel your inner elf, and join us for a night of sleuthing and fellowship! (RSVP at the link below)
