The speaker will be Dr. Arshia Khan, UMD-CS Associate Professor. She will be discussing her initiatives to support Women in Computing, including her Circle of Computing Women group at UMD, the MinneWIC conference she is holding next spring in Duluth, and the opportunities that exist to participate in her initiatives to create support networks for young women interested in pursuing an education and career in computing. The program will be Skyped for those who cannot attend in person.
