Denise Griffin
Denise Griffin is an Engagement Analyst at First Fuel Software, the global leader in digital engagement for energy providers and their business customers.
Denise has been involved in IEEE since college and is currently the Northeast Region Coordinator of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE). Denise was previously the IEEE Boston WIE Chair for 3 years and under her leadership, the section was runner up for “International Section of The Year” two years in a row. In 2013 she received the IEEE-USA Regional Professional Leadership Award and the Region 1 Enhancing IEEE & Industry Relationship Award. Denise was the Career Fair Coordinator at the IEEE WIE Summit in Philadelphia in 2015 and is thrilled to be the Chair of this year’s event and work with her dedicated (and fun) planning committee to bring it to Boston!
Outside of IEEE, Denise is very active with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and “Adopt a Class” which is a community-service based scholarship program in Burlington, MA where she lives with her husband and two children. She received her BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.
