Heidi Hemmer

Heidi HemmerHeidi Hemmer is the vice president – Network for Verizon. She is responsible for Capital Administration, Asset Management, and Vendor Management for Network in both Wireless and Wireline.

Previously, Heidi was Vice President – Global Strategic Sourcing at Verizon Communications, where she was responsible for sourcing activities across multiple categories totaling approximately $30B annually. She was also responsible for providing strategies and processes for Network Equipment Supply Chain.
Heidi has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in both operational field positions as well as staff support roles. Prior to her current position, she was the Network lead responsible for all aspects of migrating and consolidating networks to support the Alltel merger. She also held numerous leadership positions in the Northeast Area Network Department for Wireless including Director of Engineering in both the New York Metro and Philadelphia regions and Director of System Performance in the New York Metro region.

Heidi graduated from Duke University with a bachelor’s of science degree in Zoology. Heidi lives in Chatham, NJ with her husband and daughter.
