Dr. Carolyn C. Matheus
Dr. Carolyn C. Matheus is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at Marist College. She holds a PhD in Organizational Studies with an emphasis on leadership and work motivation from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany. She teaches undergraduate courses in information technology and systems with a focus on information quality and human computer interaction (HCI), as well as graduate courses with a focus on C-level leadership and analytics in technology organizations. She is a regular faculty speaker for the Emerging Leaders Program, which provides a lecture series and workshops to college students to help them explore their leadership style and develop their leadership skills. She also leads an annual, service-learning study abroad program in which Computer Science and Spanish students collaborate to host a technology education summer camp for junior high students in the Dominican Republic.
