Maryam Rahmani
Maryam Rahmani is a mid-career technologist with over 23 years of technology sales experience focused on delivering technology solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Maryam is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Electrical Engineering. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Cybersecurity Policy at University of Maryland University College.
With Dr. Charlotte Blair, Maryam serves as the Technical Co-Chair for the 2016 IEEE R1 & R2 Women in Engineering (WIE) Forum East. She is the IEEE-Computer Society Membership Chair for Washington-Northern Virginia chapter. She is the Outreach Coordinator for membership at large (MAL) with Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Maryam serves on the board of the Society of HPC Professionals (SHPCP). Additionally, she is a member of ISSA and WIS SIG. She advocates STEAM (STEM+Art) career for women.
