ESA workshop on VDES – 16. January 2018 in Noordwijk (The Netherlands)

The one day workshop will focus on the Maritime VHF Data Exchange System (VDES) – Development Status, Opportunities and Challenges, Applications Perspectives. It will consist of four panel sessions on the following subjects:

Session 1: Current Status VDES Technology Developments and Standards

Session 2: Future VDES Frequency Allocations, Opportunities and Challenges

Session 3: VDES Applications and Utilisation Perspectives

Session 4: VDES Concept Verifications and Trials
