Title:

Curriculum Focus Group

Date:

Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Location:

Quality Inn & Suites Winnipeg
635 Pembina Hwy

Abstract:

The purpose of the CFG is to get Industry’s perspective of what a graduate of an electrical and computer engineering (ECE) program should be able to do once they enter the workforce. The Industry’s perspective will then be used as input to help identify gaps and to modify, shape, and restructure the ECE Curriculum at the University of Manitoba. The forums are being planned biannually to facilitate continual improvement of the program. Please read the attachment for more details.

Registration:

Please let me know if you are able to participate. The Industry Forum will give you the opportunity to give back and to lend your experience to developing better understanding of our industry and what it values and expects from those who work within it. I urge you to think this over carefully, share this with your colleagues in other departments of your organization, and to let Ken Ferens know if you can give a small amount of your time to this most important activity.

Registration:

Registration is required. Contact Ken Ferens if you are interested in attending.

Organizers:
