Abstract:

Sandra Corbeil, Manager of the Canadian Science and Engineering Hall of Fame, and Claude Faubert, Director General of the Canada Science and Technology Museum, invite you to nominate a distinguished scientist or engineer in your field for induction into the ‘Canadian Science and Engineering Hall of Fame.’

The Hall of Fame is housed at the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa, and has the following main objectives:

  • To honour Canadians who have made outstanding contributions to society in the fields of science and engineering. .
  • To promote role models who will help attract young Canadians to careers in science, engineering and technology.

More than 40 Canadian scientists, engineers and innovators have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. The achievements of these individuals have been so remarkable. and their contributions to society so great, that the Museum hopes one day to make all Canadians aware of their accomplishments.

New members are chosen through a nomination and selection process. Anyone may nominate an individual who has made a significant contribution in the fields of science, engineering or technology.
