How to Get Here?

The date for the IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit 2018 is almost here and we are looking forward to meet you at University of Southampton, Highfield Campus. The following information is regarding transportation from the nearby train station, airports and city transport that is available so that you plan your trip in advance.

If you are traveling from London Airport by coach:

• National Express provide coach services to Southampton city centre and University of Southampton. You can take National Express coaches from Heathrow terminals 2, 3, 4, and 5. Buy Coach tickets→ https://www.nationalexpress.com/en
• National Express also provides coach services to Southampton city centre from Gatwick terminals North and South. Buy Coach tickets→ https://www.nationalexpress.com/en

If you are traveling from London by train:

Trains from London to Southampton run frequently from London Waterloo Station and arrive at Southampton Central where you can take Unilink local buses to continue your journey. Unilink trips are explained below. Buy Train tickets→ http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

If you are traveling from Southampton Airport towards University of Southampton, Highfield Campus:

You can take a Unilink bus U1C and disembark at Highfield Interchange Stop or get a taxi from outside the Airport. The Unilink bus fare is £2 for a single or £3.50 for an all-day pass which allows you to use the same ticket during the day in any Unilink bus. The unlink webpage contain maps and timetables that allows you to plan your trip in advance. If you are traveling from Southampton City Centre, Southampton Train Station or Coach Station towards Highfield Campus:

You can take a Unilink bus U1A and disembark at Highfield Interchange Stop or get a taxi from any of these locations. From the Coach Station, you will have to walk towards ASDA or Train Station to get a Unilink bus.

The summit is taking place mainly on Highfield Campus starting with
– the career fair and registration in Building 46 on the 13th of August from 12:00
– the talks, workshops and registration in Hartley Suite, Building 38 on August 14th from 08:00
