Founder & CEO, PicoTherm Corporation
Kazuko Ishikawa is the Founder and CEO of PicoTherm Corporation, a company for development, manufacturing and sales of thermal analysis system for thin films. After graduating from University of Tsukuba, she was engaged in the development of thermal control systems for artificial satellites and experimental equipment for zero-gravity environment at NEC. After that, she was involved in planning and production at the publisher and the performing art center, and then, she joined the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). She conducted a task force project for starting venture companies, and she founded PicoTherm Corporation in 2008. She has also been a member of IEEE Japan Council Women in Engineering Affinity Group (JC WIE). She served as Chair, IEEE JC WIE from 2014 to 2015.
