Reena Dahle

Reena DahleReena Dahle is currently an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering at the Division of Engineering Programs at the State University of New York (SUNY) New Paltz. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada in the area of RF and microwave microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). She has also worked at L3-MITEQ as a senior microwave systems engineer overseeing the design of high-performance components and systems for satellite communication and earth systems. Her research interests include biomedical wireless sensing, RF energy harvesting and 3-D printed microwave components. She is also the founder of the group, Women In Science and Engineering (W.I.S.E.) at SUNY New Paltz, a group geared toward growing the number of women in STEM using novel methods to engaging females from K-12, through university to industry including social networking, summer camps, and minor programs.
