Learn to Solder Workshop
DETAILS:
Light-emitting diodes are behind most of today’s displays and lighting designs. Learn about these devices, how to design with them, and how to build a /solderless/ LED ‘Torch’ and how to /solder/ an LED Badge during this half-hour session. Materials and tools are available for up to 15 attendees per session for two (2) successive sessions.
Presented by Dr. Charles Rubenstein who has been the volunteer coordinator for the Learn to Solder Booth at the World Maker Faire New York (WMFNY) for the past four years and has curated and coordinated the IEEE Booth at WMFNY for the past six years. He will be assisted by fellow IEEE NY Section officer Bob Pellegrino who has served as a Learn to Solder Coach.
This workshop will be presented in two 30 minute sessions on Saturday, Dec 2, each with a limit of 15 people.
Session 1: 9:30 – 10:00 am
Session 2: 10:00 – 10:30 am
