IEEE Women in Engineering Victorian Section organised an online session via Zoom on Entrepreneurship​ with Laxmi Pun and Maneesha Perera​.

The interactive discussion covered topics such as:
– What is Entrepreneurship,
– What is a Startup vs Small business,
– State of Venture capital and the need for gender diversity, and
– Advice for women who are interested in being a founder or joining a Venture Capital.

The session was a success with participants getting the opportunity to listen to two women startup founders share their knowledge and experience of their startup journey as well as getting the opportunity to participate in the discussion to ask questions they had on startups.
