The Outstanding Technical Achievement and Leadership Award is an annual award that has been instituted by the IEEE Technical Committee on Real-Time Systems, recognizing individuals for their technical achievements and leadership in Real-Time Computing. The 2021 edition of this award will be presented to the recipient at RTSS 2021. More information about the award can be found at:

WE are currently soliciting nominations for this award. A nomination should be made via a letter of support enumerating the reasons for the nomination. The letter of support should be sent by e-mail to baruah@wustl.edu no later than February 28, 2021. The subject field of the email should be: “TCRTS 2021 Award Nomination”. The criteria for nominations are stated as follows:
Nominees for this award should have a clear record of impact within the real-time systems community. Such impact may have been demonstrated in a variety of ways, including influential publications in real-time computing, leadership roles with respect to organizing real-time events and initiatives, keynote talks at key venues, etc.
Please note that the current Chair and Vice-Chair of the IEEE TCRTS are not eligible for the award.
