Mission Statement
Mission of the overall Power & Energy Society organization is:
To be the leading provider of scientific and engineering information on electric power and energy for the betterment of society, and the preferred professional development source for our members.

As the Tallahassee Area Chapter of the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) we adopt this as our mission to specifically apply to the Tallahassee community.
Welcome Message
Welcome to the IEEE PES Tallahassee Area Chapter web site. We currently have over 350 members in and around the Tallahassee area and an active Technical Meeting program. Some of the topics covered recently include Nanotechnology, power Grid and Micro Grids.
All these events need volunteers so if you would like to help us make our Chapter even more successful please contact Chapter Chair Sastry Pamidi at pamidi@eng.famu.fsu.edu.

Where can I find a calendar for future meetings?
We do not post meetings on calendar regularly since meetings are set up as planned. Instead, future meetings will be posted on this site and can be found easily on “recent posts” on the right-side of this page. Also, we send an e-notice to all IEEE members who agreed to receive it in advance. Thank you.
