The Sustainability Forum is a unique conference track at SusTech 2020 that focuses on the aspirations and goals of industry practitioners and technical professionals.  This one-day event features a unique blend of experts in leadership, institutions, and technology.  The Sustainability Forum is the first day of SusTech 2020, April 23.  It will feature industry experts giving talks on Autonomous Vehicles, Power Electronics and the Smart Grid, Nuclear Power, Space Based Solar Power, and Climate Change. There will be a panel on “The New Norm? Drought and Water Supply Resiliency for California” and another discussing “Challenges for Sustainability Programs at SoCal Universities”.

Each session is designed for innovators, entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs who face the challenges of excelling in a dynamic and constantly changing technical world of sustainability.

The Forum is available as a one-day stand-alone registration option. Lunch is included, and a separate ticket to the evening banquet can be purchased.

The Automated Vehicle Workshop is a hands-on complement to SusTech that details applying open-source software and hardware to building your very own automated vehicle. The focus is on automating micromobility, providing SOV (single-occupancy vehicle) urban transportation that matches automotive performance, but using 45 times less energy.  This one-day event features background on the opportunity and technologies, followed by hands-on experiments.

The Automated Vehicle Workshop (all day Saturday) is included with Full registration.  If you want to attend only the Workshop, and not the conference, you can register for it separately here.
