IEEE Spokane Section Co-Sponsors Upcoming Wireless and 5G Forum at Gonzaga University, Feb 27

Because the Spokane region is one of the first metro areas to roll out new 5G wireless technology — and to follow up on the IEEE Spokane Section’s wireless technology presentation series over the past two years — the Section is pleased to be among the co-sponsors of the upcoming WIRELESS AND 5G FORUM to be held at the Gonzaga University John J. Hemmingson Conference Center, at 4pm, Thursday Feb 27.

This educational public forum will address both the new 5G technology itself, and ongoing research into the technology’s biological impact and current safety standards. The forum will feature two well-known speakers in those areas of study, Dr. Robert Olsen, Professor Emeritus of Electrical Engineering WSU (on technology) as well as Dr. Martin Pall, Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry and Basic Medical Sciences (on biology).

This event is both free and open to the public, with IEEE members and regional technology students in all fields especially welcome!
