Invited Speakers

Anand M. Shrivastav Anand M. Shrivastav obtained Ph.D. (Physics) degree form Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2018. Currently, he is working as Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow in Public University of Navarra, Spain. He has worked on several research areas including SPR, LSPR, SERS, optical fiber interferometry. Current research area is focused on LMR based sensors for biomedical applications.

Juan David López was born in Alcala Valle, Colombia. He received the degree in physics engineering (2017), and the M.Sc. (2020). He is currently a PhD. student in Nanotechnology engineering and he working as a researcher at the Photonics and Instrumentation Laboratory at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro–UFRJ, Brazil. His research interests include fiber optic sensors and nanomaterials.

Dr. Aritz Ozcariz received his MS in Telecommunication Engineering (2015) and his PhD (2020) from the Public University of Navarra. His research has been focused on the study of different nanocoatings for the development of optical fiber sensors. He has performed research stays at the Universidade Tecnologica Federal do Paraná in Curitiba (Brazil) and the Universita degli Studi del Sannio in Benevento (Italy). He is currently working as a ‘Margarita Salas’ postdoctoral researcher at the department of Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering of the Public University of Navarra.

Una vez evaluadas las candidaturas presentadas en base a los videos de presentación y memorias de tesis realizados por los/las candidatos/as y valorada la presentación por el jurado en cuanto a los siguientes aspectos:


• Relación con los sensores
• Relevancia dentro de su campo de aplicación
• Mérito científico-técnico
• Corrección, estilo y claridad de la presentación


El jurado compuesto por:
o Manuel Jesús Fernández González, Responsable de Actividades del capítulo.
o Teona Mirea, Secretaria del capítulo.
o Belén Calvo López, Tesorera del capítulo.
