Community Outreach
Our community outreach efforts seek to bring more volunteering opportunities to our members! We believe giving back to the community is fun and a critical part or our organization. In the past, we have helped out with Laser for Ladies, MESA Madness and College Day, setting up lab tours and a science fair for children in our local community, and Tailgate Recycling. We hope to collaborate with other Viterbi student organizations to introduce youth in our local community to educations in STEM.

Viterbi Career Conference
Students will help coordinate arrangements for check-in, workshops, and resume critiques among other duties. There will be opportunities to network with employers throughout the day and over a networking dinner provided by Viterbi. More detailed information about your duties for the conference will be sent out by the week of the 14th.

Along with IEEE members, Professor Landis volunteers his time and equipment to help us teach inner-city middle to high school students the fundamentals of electrical engineering. By using circuit kits, we bring those fundamentals to life for our participants. Students get the opportunity to make electrical components like radios, games, and even small keyboards to show how fun engineering can be and facilitate passions they may not have seen before.
