UniKL BMI has organized campus level Academia Day 2019 on 9th of October 2019 in conjunction with National Academia Month in October. Ministry of Education Malaysia (‘Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia’) has decided for 5th October to be Academia day and the month of October as Academia month for every year. The celebration involves Public Universities, Private Universities, Community Colleges, Matriculation Colleges, and institutes in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
UniKL BMI Academia Day goal is to celebrate the academia month with knowledge and social related activities in the campus with themed “academia with community”.
The activities organized includes Final Year Project Exhibition, Visit by School for Project exhibition, lecturer’s appreciation booth and staff gathering. A total of 120 student from Sekolah Beasrama Penuh Integrasi Gombak attended the project exhibition as an initiative to connect with community. There were a total of 168 final year projects has been showcased at Dewan Gemilang, UniKL BMI. Food trucks from FAMA also participated in the event that sold variety of food and drinks.
