Diego Armando Giral Ramírez
dagiralr@ieee.orgDiego is responsible, as a counselor of the Power & Energy Society, to coordinate all the activities and projects of PES UD FT, it is the unconditional support to carry out satisfactorily all the goals set. Diego is also a friend to the members of PES and an ideal figure of a professional who supports the activities of the students to chart an enriching journey in the university, and later arrive with solid leadership bases to occupy a position in the labor sector. He is the best counselor that can have a IEEE Society.

Oscar Javier Llanos Monroy
ojllanosm@ieee.orgOscar is responsible for directing the student activities of the Power & Energy Society UD FT, organizing and making clear the guidelines for a good direction of the Chapter. In addition, he is responsible for working together with the Main Committee, the Action Committee and all volunteers in the formulation of strategic plans to promote electrical engineering to new generations. As Chair, Oscar is also a counselor to the members he is in charge of, works as a guide and provides exceptional leadership to all volunteers and the community at large. Finally, it is the main actor involved in the growth of PES memberships, research, free transmission of knowledge in the Electricity Project UD project and the motivation to be the best in what is done.

Laura is responsible for promoting support to the Chair and the Chapter, reports to the Branch, coordination and deanaturation, documentation of the secretary and treasurer, support to the PES members and future PES Chair, among others. Maintains strategic alliances through the website, fan page and email, organizes the PES volunteers meetings, provides logistical support to different activities and represents the Society in the Faculty.
Webmaster
Angie Camila Ojeda Rojas
Camila is responsible for strategic Society advertising, communications, template editing initiatives and poster models in PES activities. He works in collaboration with volunteers, the PES Chair and the IEEE Webmaster to ensure that the objectives of leaving the produced content that includes the main PES UD FT website for the new generations are met with a high quality standard. In addition, it supports different projects of the Chapter in favor of its growth in different areas, such as logistics and coordination of activities.
Academic Research
Jorge Alonso Duarte Amezquita
Jorge is responsible for the promotion, management and dissemination of academic knowledge in different areas of the student electrical sector such as basic sciences, electrical circuits and automatisms, works in collaboration with volunteers, including, among others, the following: PES UD FT Chair, Counselor and teachers interested in the growth of the group of students. Manages and maintains a schedule according to the academic calendar of the University, and provides support to all students of technology and electrical engineering, and engineering careers in general.
Technical Research
Juliette Ximena Sánchez Huertas
Juliette carries out research Society projects, focused on the electricity sector, thus benefiting PES members and the District University students, aimed at improving the quality of life of the community in general. She advances in the projects by providing a thorough review of the content that is being developed, ensuring that the project's objectives are met through research and analysis. She ensures that there is perfect coordination among the project stakeholders and makes recommendations for editing the content, and measures that should be taken for a correct emphasis of the same. He works as a leader of the Electricity Project UD project in the edition of theoretical and graphic content.

Staff Functions
The chair of PES UD FT is the legal representative of the Chapter internally and externally of the University, among his responsibilities is the good management of all the activities proposed by the Chapter, so that they can be satisfactorily completed.
You must be a great leader to achieve teamwork with your volunteers and reach each established goal together, you must be persuasive and intelligent when delegating functions to the main committee and the action committee, based on the scheduled activities and the amount of Volunteers required, he is a volunteer with a great responsibility, he is not a boss, he is not a role manager, he is a volunteer who works together with his team and members in charge, he has a direct relationship with the Chapter Treasurer.
The role and management of the chair of PES UD FT must be effective and it is essential that he / she manages to motivate volunteers to work and non-volunteers to enter the Chapter.
As a mandatory rule of the Chapter, the chair must be a man-woman an annual period, and for the following annual period must be a person of the opposite sex, to empower both genders in engineering.
Functions in the position:
1. Preside and organize all the meetings of the Chapter.
2. Regularly verify that the tasks assigned to the main committee and the action committee are being fully carried out.
3. Name the leaders of each section and delegate specific functions.
4. Maintain an assertive communication with the leading members of each internal section of the committees.
5. To promote and consolidate a research team within the Chapter, with the support of professors, seedbeds and research groups of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, Faculty of Technology.
6. Disseminate the benefits of IEEE and PES worldwide for members interested in the information.
7. Maintain a minimum of 10 members for the PES Chapter, since, by IEEE regulations, if the Chapter does not have a minimum of 6 people, it will be deactivated after a set period of time.
8. Work in coordination with the IEEE Branch of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, Technological Faculty.
9. Present the HIGH PERFORMING STUDENT BRANCH CHAPTER PROGRAM during your term as chair.
10. Ensure that the process of transition of positions is fluid and clear the main functions, in order documentation and good training for volunteers who will occupy a position on the main committee and action committee.
To occupy the position of chair, you must have previously passed for the position of Vice chair of the Chapter. When occupying the position as chair, it must be ensured that the work team (Vice chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Webmaster and section leaders) is adequate for an optimal fulfillment of the established functions.

1. Be directly responsible for all Chapter documentation.

3. Socialize an annual activity schedule to the board of directors of the Branch and Chapters of the Faculty.
4. Prepare with the President the HIGH PERFORMING STUDENT BRANCH CHAPTER PROGRAM before October 31st of the school year.
5. Support the President to ensure that all proposed activities are satisfactorily met based on the Chapter's approach.
6. Maintain a detailed record of all Chapter meetings.
7. Maintain a detailed file of the Chapter's activities and documentation.
8. Keep a file of the participation and commitment of each member to take into account when providing incentives for their mission as volunteers of the IEEE Chapter.
9. Carry out the internal procedures in the Faculty to request physical spaces and document each process carried out.

The Treasurer must keep in order all the documents and economic records of the Chapter, must be a leader and achieve teamwork, have as a fundamental principle and that administration and planning are the path to success of the Chapter, added to it, must be good mathematician and entrepreneur. It will unconditionally support the activities and management of the main committee and the action committee. Among its specific functions are:
1. Be responsible for keeping the accounts in order and the financial status of the Chapter.
2. Keep all financial records up to date in an organized and digital way, available to the main committee.
3. Look for ways of self-support with the approval and approval of the members of the Chapter.
4. Keep a record of the budget for the beginning of the year, of all the money received and invested from the Chapter.
5. Prepare a final financial statement to present a monthly report and an annual report to the main committee.

The Webmaster of PES UD FT is in charge of transmitting the image of the society by visual representations including social networks, web pages and posters, giving a meeting with our events and approaches in a more attractive way.
Functions:
1. Development of graphics and designs for illustrations of the logos of the society, presentations and websites
2. Update the website of the society.
3. Update all the social networks of the society.
4. Transmit information of the society, in order to call interested people, by the means that are possible.
