IEEE is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through IEEE’s highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.

About IEEE EDS/EPS Student Technical Chapter at UCLA

The UCLA Joint Student Technical Chapter of the IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) and Electronics Packaging Society (EPS) was newly formed during the summer of 2018. The Chapter is dedicated to:

  • engaging graduate and undergraduate students in cutting-edge research conducted in the fields of fabrication, devices, and packaging
  • encouraging student involvement and professional development; to promote cross-disciplinary collaborations
  • connecting students directly with members of industry and the IEEE Electron Devices (EDS) and IEEE Electronics Packaging (EPS) societies
