(Data Tales) is a thrilling 11-day hackathon challenge inviting aspiring data enthusiasts, students, and young professionals to harness the power of visualization by developing dashboards and craft compelling data narratives. Participants will embark on a journey of exploration, creativity, and innovation as they develop captivating dashboards that unravel complex data sets. This immersive experience concludes with a grand presentation before esteemed jury panels, where the top three entries will be acclaimed and rewarded for their creativity and skill.

AIM OF D-TALES:

The primary objective of D-Tales is to equip Students and Young Professionals with the essential skills and practical experience necessary to excel in the dynamic field of data analytics. By engaging in hands-on visualization projects, participants will enhance their analytical abilities, cultivate their creativity, and broaden their understanding of data storytelling

TARGET AUDIENCE:

D-Tales welcomes participants from all backgrounds and levels of expertise who harbor a passion for data exploration and visualization. Whether you're a seasoned data analyst or a curious student eager to delve into the world of data, this event offers a platform for growth, learning, and collaboration.

EVENT STRUCTURE:

REGISTRATION

Participants register individually or as teams, indicating their interest and background in data analytics

KICK-OFF SESSION:

A comprehensive orientation session introduces participants to the event’s theme, rules, and guidelines. Essential resources and tools for data visualization are provided.

CHALLENGE PERIOD:

Over the course of 11 days, participants immerse themselves in data exploration, visualization, and dashboard creation.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:

Participants submit their completed dashboards along with a brief explanation of their data interpretation and visualization techniques in a PowerPoint Presentation.

JUDGING PROCESS:

An esteemed panel of judges evaluates the submissions based on criteria such as creativity, clarity, effectiveness, and innovation.

THE SHOWDOWN:

Finalists present their dashboards to the jury panels and fellow participants, showcasing their insights and storytelling expertise

AWARDS CEREMONY:

The top three entries from both the student and young professional categories are announced and celebrated during this prestigious awards ceremony. Prizes and recognition are presented upon the winners, acknowledging their exemplary work.
