IEEE student branch, UCE, OU has succesfully conducted a 12hr MATLAB WORKSHOP from 12-02-18 to 17-02-18. The workshop was taken up by student branch counsellor Dr.G.Mallesham, Associate professor in the department of Electrical Engineering ,UCE, OU.The workshop had a tremendous response, more than 100 students have actively participated. The workshop mainly focussed on the basics of MATLAB such as matrices, basic math functions, M-files, graphs and plots, toolboxes, simulink. Day to day assignments were given to the participants. On the last day of workshop, IEEE Hyderabad section chairman P.V.S.Maruthi Rao had visited the workshop and interacted with the students, gave them an idea about what IEEE can provide to students and also promised to support them for their activities. The meritorious participants were appreciated by the principal Prof.Sameen Fatima,UCE,OU and Head of the department of electrical engineering M.V.Ramana Rao ,UCE,OU.
