currently looking for a summer intern for the production floor at

NWRapid Manufacturing. It is a leading rapid prototype manufacturer

and provider of product development services. Using SLS technology,

 they produce custom prototypes and end-use products directly from CAD data.

Northwest Rapid Manufacturing is the largest and most capable SLS service bureau

in the Pacific Northwest. This is a paid position and Ms. Simms would love to hear

Job Description/Candidate responsibilities
– Evaluating SoC, server and workstation solution performance using both internal and external benchmarks and applications
– Responsible for adapting existing tests, benchmarks, and applications
– Train and collaborate and be the “expert” to other organizations

Academic or Professional Experience/Skills in any or more of the following fields
– Linux and Windows* Operating system
– Re-building kernels, compiling open source code or projects, LAMP stack
– C, C++, Java, and/or scripting languages
– Debugging and troubleshooting PC, workstation, or server solutions
– Familiarity in computer architecture building blocks (processor, graphics, storage, networking, and software)
– Web Serving, Transcoding, LAMP, PHP, MySQL, Hadoop, Memcached, Java familiarity/experience is a plus
– ARM and IBM Power architecture is a plus (x86 a must)
– Microsoft* Excel and PowerPoint experience

Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts required
