Join the IEEE and Professor Douglas on Saturday February 18th from 9am to 5pm in the Student Commons
for our IEEE Technology Teardown. A Tech Teardown is the act of disassembling an electronics product to
identify its components, chips, circuits, overall function, and cost optimization. Get hands on experience
opening up and tearing down electronics to support component selection, design strategy, and device
capabilities. Tools will be on hand to borrow from the lab and lunch will be provided by the IEEE. If you
have class Saturday morning feel free to join us as your schedule allows.
Extra Credit may be earned for students in Professor Douglas’ classes!
