Hackathon Updates
1.Flipkart GRiD 3.0v
GRiD is Flipkart’s Flagship Engineering Campus Challenge which provides you the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and skills, to compete and complete key challenges. In its third edition, Flipkart GRiD becomes bigger & better, bringing Live Problem Statements from the world of E-Commerce to the brightest minds of India and lets you put your capabilities to the ultimate test.
The third edition of GRiD will have three distinct tracks for participants to choose from:
- Software Development Track
- Information Security Track
- Robotics Track
Each track will have multiple elimination rounds to test you on your technical, analytical, and ideation skills before the Grand Finale where the finalists will get to present their solutions to the panel of domain experts at Flipkart.

Eligibility: Engineering students Rewards: Prizes worth INR 6,00,000, certificate of merit, Internship opportunities and more.
1. Software Development Track
Software Development Track consists of 4 Levels,
Level 1: E-Commerce & Tech Quiz
Every team will get a set of questions to be answered within 30 minutes. It will be based on E-Commerce Trivia (ref: https://stories.flipkart.com) and Tech (Technology Awareness + Techstack & Computer Science Fundamentals).
Dates: 10 Jul’21 12:00 PM IST – 10 Jul’21 06:00 PM IST
Level 2: Online Problem Statement Idea Brief Submission
Qualifying teams from Level 1 will be given a problem statement according to the domain area of interest selected after Level 1. They will be able to make submissions until the deadline for this round anytime during the challenge window.
Dates: 12 Jul’21 12:00 PM IST – 20 Jul’21 11:59 PM IST
Level 3: Online Functional Proof of Concept Demo Video with Code Submission
Qualifying teams from Level 2 will work on the Idea Submission and will develop a proof of concept demo video & code submission as well.
Dates: 28 Jul’21 12:00 PM IST – 11 Aug’21 11:59 PM IST
Level 4: The National Finale
In the final level of the GRiD, finalists will be invited to showcase their solutions to the Panel of Domain Experts at Flipkart.
Dates: 03 Sep’21 12:00 PM IST – 03 Sep’21 06:00 PM IST
The finalists have a chance of getting place in Flipkart with 24LPA and internship opportunity with stipend of 50,000 INR.

2. Information Security Challenge
The Information Security Challenge has three levels,
Level 1: E-Commerce & Tech Quiz
Every team will get a set of questions to be answered within 30 minutes. It will be based on E-Commerce Trivia (ref: https://stories.flipkart.com) and Tech (Infosec Basics + Techstack).

Level 2: Submission of Proof of Concept with Demo Video
Qualifying teams from Level 1 will be given a problem statement according to the domain area of interest selected after Level 1. They will work on the Idea Submission and will develop a Proof of Concept demo video & code submission as well.

Level 3: The National Finale
In the final level of the GRiD, finalists will be invited to showcase their solutions to the Panel of Domain Experts at Flipkart.

The finalists have a chance of getting place in Flipkart with 26.57LPA and internship opportunity with stipend of 50,000 INR.

3.Robotics Challenge
The Robotics Track has two elimination rounds to test you on your technical, analytical, and ideation skills before the Grand Finale where the finalists will get to present their solutions to the panel of domain experts at Flipkart.
Level 1: Elimination Round I
All teams need to start building the bot as per the problem statement according to the deliverables mentioned. The problem statement can be downloaded from the attachments section. They will be able to make submissions until the deadline for this round anytime during the challenge window.

Level 2: Elimination Round II
Qualifying teams from Level 1 will work on their robots and will improvise their uninterrupted videos as per the deliverables mentioned in the problem statement. The problem statement can be downloaded from the attachments section. They will be able to make submissions until the deadline for this round anytime during the challenge window.

Level 3: The National Finale
In the final level of the GRiD, finalists will be invited to showcase their solutions to the Panel of Domain Experts at Flipkart.

2. HACKOTHSAV 1.0
HACKOTHSAV is an online coding hackathon. There are two broad areas for this event are “Societal Impact” and “Business Oriented”. Teams must choose a broad area during registration itself. The team Size can be from 2- 5 members. Participation certificates will be provided for all participants.
- Registration fee: 150 INR for IEEE members and 250 INR for non-IEEE members.
- Eligibility: UG and PG students

3.Hack the mountain 2.0
The international level hackathon is “HACK THE MOUNTAIN 2.0” is the First ever Tech community from Jammu and Kashmir “SUDAN’S TECH” – by the students and for the students. It is a 36-hour virtual hackathon. This hackathon will be provided to the technical education and be ready for the industry for the students. This hackathon is a community – focused virtual hackathon, designed especially for needs of community itself. Participation certificates will also be provided.

4. VIRTUAL BR41N.IO HACKATHON
This BR41N.IO is the brainstorming and collaborative marathon designed to be learned experience for developers, technologists, engineering students, artists, and scientists who come and build brain-computer interface (BCI) application together in teams. The machine learning journal club is honored to be co-host of the virtual br41n hackathon, organized by g.tech medical engineering in partnership with IEEE brain . It is 10 days learning experience with neurotechnology experts from all over world.

5. Juspay Hiring Challenge
JUSPAY is a Payments Exchange connecting merchants, payment providers, and banks. With a deep focus on delivering seamless payments. They are trusted partners of all major internet companies in India.
This hackathon takes place in two rounds. Round 1 is online coding challenge. Round 2 is 2days long hackathon for the candidates selected from Round 1. The shortlisted candidates from Round 2 will be hired as Interns (Stipend 40,000 per month) for six months (if possible, can be extended to 8-12 months) and will be converted to full-time completely on the basis of their performance (work performance).The compensation for Full-time offered candidates will be INR 13-15 Lakhs per annum

7. Integrate to Disrupt Hackathon

8. Tech challenge 2021
Capgemini Tech Challenge is back with its latest edition – a unique hackathon on emerging digital technologies with cash prize of INR 20,00,000, a chance to work with CAPGEMINI and more.
There are 10 different categories consisting of APPIN, AWS, DATA SCIENCE, GCP, JAVA FULL STACK, PEGA, PYSPARK, REACHJS, SALESFORCE LIGHTING, SNOWFLAKE.

9. WBAI Hackathon
The Whole Brain Architecture Initiative (WBAI) aims to foster research into architectural approaches to general intelligence. WBAI has announced that theoretical models of working memory for the specified task should be submitted by the due-date for prizes including cash. According to WBAI artificial general intelligence (AGI) can be improved by understanding the whole-brain architecture. This year, WBAI are organizing the 5th WBA Hackathon with the theme of working memory. The teams with outstanding results will be awarded 67500 INR.

10. Hack the Gap
Hack The Gap is a virtual hackathon for female and non-binary individuals from July 3rd, 2021 to July 4th, 2021. The hackathon intends to promote more women to create resolutions to difficulties that women confront and thus prepare technological skills and diversity in young female technologists.
The topic of the hackathon is women’s health, including but not limited to solutions for menstrual health and hygiene, breast cancer, cervical cancer, sexual and reproductive health and education, and mental health. All you need is a computer and, if you’d like, some fellow hackers!

11. DEF Hacks
Def Hacks is a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing immersive learning experiences for students in computer science. Def Hacks is a 36hour hackathon. 13. AI Hackathon by Accenture
Artificial intelligence is everywhere, growing in its reach throughout society. With a growing economy, people’s lifestyle is changing, and so are living places. However, Indian housing properties are currently almost the same style as the old generation one, meaning not much technology & solutions are introduced to this industry. (And obviously, not much difference in property for middle-class people even though its demand is high). With this hackathon theme, we would like to target “Middle Class” people, and how we can add value to a property by integrating technology. 15. Build Tomorrow
Build tomorrow is team hackathon (with 4 members maximum). It consists of 3 Phases: Ideation phase, Prototype Phase and the Grand Finale. 16. WCE Hackathon
WCE Hackathon’21 is a 48-hours long developing venture where participants will innovate, strategize, code, and beat the odds with some ingenious solution to the most sought real-life problems. This year it aims to provide an even greater for young developers across the country to nurture their ideas and building something innovative for good of the community. Themes are healthcare solutions, efficient online learning, financial aid, cyber security. All engineering students are eligible to apply. Last date of registration is 30th June.
