Canny Can…!!!  was one of the mega event that held during State Level Technical Symposium-Gyan Mitra ’20  on 24/01/2020 and 25/01/2020 organized by IEEE Students’ Chapter under ECE Department at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College during forenoon session.The event was headed by Mr.R.Balaji IV EEE, Assisted by Ms.S.Harini III ECE and Organised by  Ms.M.S.Anjala Monal II ECE with twenty more teams each team with maximum of four members coming from various reputed Institutions.IEEE welcomed the participants and the rules and norms of the event were detailly explained which was technical event filled with fun. The first round was ‘Conjure Up’ which was basically multiple choice question type with simple questions from different domains like Electricals, Electronics, Programming language, General Knowledge, etc. in which all the participants conjured their mind to quench their thirst to get selected for next round.Teams that solved correctly and quickly were taken to next level.The second round ‘Team of Thebaults’ had eight teams shortlisted in which the round was mix up of circuit debugging, code cracking, science short story writing and hunting answers.Participants in each team actively involved by co-ordinating themselves to accomplish the given tasks and the organizers gladly made the event interactive.Teams eagerly hunted to compete and complete the round and get into final level which was evaluated by scores and time consumption.The final round was ‘The Adalberta’ in which only four teams were filtered.Four teams were edge seated to final task in which each team were simultaneously given the hints to find the name of the famous scientist and their discoveries and the team that used minimum hints to crack this were given bonus points.Finally two teams with maximum scores were recognized as winner and runner of the event and proved to be ‘The  Adalberta’ of the event.The event was well organized with the help of all the office bearers of IEEE STB under the guidance and support  of IEEE Branch Councellor Mr.C.Kalyana Sundaram, Assistant Professor,ECE Department who is head of IEEE Students Chapter.
