On 7th May 2016, IEEE JU Student Branch organized a seminar entitled “Seminar on CCNA voice primer” at Room no. 232, IIT Building, Jahangirnagar University (JU). With 24 participants, the seminar aimed to introduce the students to an important part of CCNA.
Branch Counselor Zamshed Iqbal Chowdhury, Lecturer, Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University, with an inspirational speech, initiated the Event. Dr. M. Shamim Kaiser, Associate Professor, Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University went onto demonstrate the agenda of CCNA voice primer. He showed VoIP support in Packet Tracer, Components in VoIP Network, The concept of call leg and dial Peer and Connecting Phone with manual and auto registration.
The event was concluded by Zamshed Iqbal Chowdhury, Lecturer, Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University & Counselor, IEEE JU student branch; presenting the instructor with a token of appreciation from IEEE JU student branch. Saoreen Rahman, Lecturer, Bangladesh University, Torikur Rahman, Lecturer, CSE, Uttara University graced the event with their presence.
