Through his dedication to improve the lives of physically challenged children, Sampathkumar Veeraraghavan was the recipient of the IEEE Asia Pacific Gold Award. He is the youngest Executive Committee Member of the Madras Section, IEEE Region 10. Through the Brahmam Program, Veerarghavan worked on an automated screening system for autism that is used in India to help relieve some of the work from the medical teams in specialized schools and programs.
