A team of IEEE student members, comprised of electrical, mechatronics, and computer engineers, are building an autonomous car that can complete a course as fast as possible.

Project Description:
There are many different aspects that go into designing the car.
Write code using OpenCV Python for image/video processing.
- Through this, the car is able to follow a white line as fast as it can.
Design of our own speed controller circuit.
- Knowledge of step-up/step-down converters and flyback converters is used to create a speed control system for the car.
Design of the car itself.
- Through Solidworks, a CAD model of the car is designed and 3D Printed.
The Competition:
- UC Davis holds NATCAR competitions annually on May 7th. We will most likely be participating in 2021, if they hold the competition.
New Members are always welcome, and you do not need to know everything about this project when you join. It is a learning process, whether you are a freshman or a senior.
