IEEE BUET Student Branch WIE Affinity Group in association with the entire IEEE BUET Student Branch family celebrated the greatest accomplishment of receiving the “WIE Student Branch Affinity Group of the Year Award 2019” on 24 August, 2019.
The celebration started at 1:00 pm and it was presided over by Dr. Celia Shahnaz, Professor, Department of EEE, BUET; Chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section; Advisor, IEEE BUET SB WIE AG. She conveyed her utmost exhilaration and inspired all the members and volunteers to work with more enthusiasm so that we keep achieving collaborative innovation for the benefit of humanity in future as well.
The celebration was attended by 43 individuals which included the student members, all the volunteers of IEEE BUET SB and all its Chapters and Affinity Group, previous officers of IEEE BUET SB WIE AG and the new recruited officers as well.
This celebration taught us how to keep our volunteers motivated and encouraging them to dedicate themselves for fostering technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity and promoting women engineers and scientists, and inspiring girls to follow their academic interests in a career in engineering as well.
