In this multi-disciplinary event, Tony challenged the notion that AI is just for coders โ€” sharing real-world applications that resonate with doctors, designers, entrepreneurs, and engineers alike.

Organized by Google Developer Groups AUB and the CSSS, in collaboration with IEEE AUB, ASME, AIM, IISE, and other societies, the session inspired students to rethink their role in the AI revolution.

From ethical hacking fundamentals to advanced vulnerability exploitation techniques, this hands-on workshop gave students the opportunity to:

On April 10, 2025, the IEEE AUB Student Branch welcomed Monty Holding for an insightful session on career development, industry trends, and recruitment strategies within the global telecom landscape.

Featuring Toters’ Co-Founders โ€” Tamim Khalfa (CEO) and Nael Halwani (COO) โ€” the event offered a deep dive into the growth journey of one of Lebanonโ€™s most successful tech startups.

Moderated by Mohamad Baghdadi (IEEE PR Officer) and Tamara Mardini (President of the Business Student Society), the session provided valuable insights into entrepreneurship, operations scaling, and career development in the tech world.

๐Ÿ•Œ Joining Hands: Spreading Joy This Ramadan

In a heartwarming collaboration between the IEEE AUB Student Branch ๐Ÿ’™, AUB UNICEF Club ๐Ÿฉต, and the Biology Student Society ๐Ÿ’š, students came together to collect donations for a charitable Ramadan iftar. Stands were placed across campus at West Hall, Jafet Library, OXY MSFEA, and the Courtyard on March 18 and 19, inviting the AUB community to contribute.

All proceeds went toward organizing a joyful iftar for children in need, in collaboration with Ajialouna NGO. Thank you to everyone who donated your kindness helped light up Ramadan for those who need it most. ๐ŸŒ™โœจ
