About IEEE Student Branch at Aalborg University (AAU)
The IEEE Student Branch at Aalborg University (AAU) was established in September 2005. Student at Aalborg University who also are members of IEEE automatically becomes members of the IEEE student branch.
Aalborg University IEEE Student Branch organizes a different kind of activities for local and international engineering students. Between these events are conferences, technical and practical lectures from invited speakers, workshops, visits to industry and social events.
The vision for the IEEE Student Branch at Aalborg University is to act as a platform for engineering students at AAU to help them gain insight into industry and academia in the field of electrical and electronic engineering.
Moreover, IEEE Student Branch at Aalborg University has the following aims:
- Act as a communicator between the students and industry.
- Plan activities such that our students can forge strong ties with industry in Aalborg area.
- Incentivate and prepare students for research environment.
