14 May 2019: 1901a-2019 was published on 13 May 2019 and is available here.
9 April 2019: P1901a was approved as a new standard by the IEEE-SA Standards Board on 21 March 2019. The standard is expected to be published in May 2019.
15 January 2019: SA ballot (Sponsor Ballot) received 100% approval. Comments were resolved and the Working Group submitted the Draft to Standards Board RevCom for approval consideration at the March meeting.
10 December 2018: The Working Group completed the development of the Draft and decided to initiate Sponsor Ballot. This is an amendment of 1901-2010 that adds a Flexible Channel Wavelet PHY/MAC (FCW) for Internet of Things applications.
25 October 2018: The first version of the Draft Standard has been approved. Initial SA Ballot of the Draft Standard is expected to open in November.
18 September 2018: The Working Document has been revised and completed. Approval of the first Draft Standard is expected at the October face to face meeting.
31 July 2018: A new version of the Working Document has been approved by the Working Group. Completion of the Working Document is expected at the September meeting.
22 June 2018: The first Working Document including the technical baseline for the enhanced Flexible Channel Wavelet PHY/MAC has been approved by the Working Group.
15-16 March 2018: The Working Group held its kick-off meeting in Osaka, Japan.
