IEEE is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through IEEE’s highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.

Here in Region 4, we serve IEEE Members in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. We provide support to all sections, subsections, chapters, and student chapters so they may in turn provide value to IEEE members in the form of resources, guidance, and organization of regional events. One such event is the annual Region 4 Nexus.

Here at IEEE, we are actively engaged in promoting Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) careers at all educational levels, from K-12 to the university and beyond in continuous learning. The Nexus is a perfect example of this effort, challenging university students to solve complex engineering problems.
