John Hawkins is the author of the recent book "Getting Data Science Done: managing projects from ideas to products". John's book outlines the essential stages in running successful data science projects, provides comprehensive guidelines to help identify potential issues and then a range of strategies for mitigating them.This event will be a podcast-style interview with John, to discuss various aspects of his book and more generally the practicalities of applying data science/machine learning/artificial intelligence to real-world applications.
